Comments needed for CBN 56

I’d like to hear from non single men about any efforts they might have made to get their wife/girlfriends to read comics.

I’d like to hear from single men about how new women they try to date react when you say those three magical words “I collect comics.”

I’d like to hear from fathers about any attempts to get their DAUGHTERS into this hobby of ours.

I would ask for any female listeners to comment on how people around them react to the hobby (“You read WHAT?”)

    I’ve been into comics all my life. I grew up reading Xmen and Batman. I couldn’t own any until I was old enough to get my own ride to the comic book store because my mom was a big feminist and thought that “they were for just boys.”

    Except for my parental unit, I’ve never had a bad reaction to reading comics themselves. I get bad reactions from females when I tell them that I prefer to read things like Sin City and Grendel.
