“Ya’ll come back now, ya’ hear?”

I’ve been saving this up for a while. This has nothing to do with this episode.
Hey, I don’t know if this show will be for me, since I have deftly avoided having children, even by mistake. I’ll listen to the show anyways, at least once. Still, I work in the Education field and I’ve realized that more kids know about comic book characters than they know about the actual existence of Marvel/DC/Image/Whatever.
This is just after taking highly informal polls of students I teach/tutor. It breaks my heart to know that while kids love Spider-man 3 and Transformers, they have NO idea where to get comics or where they can read a copy of a comic.
Manga’s soooooo available, though! Diary of a Wimpy Kid is also making the rounds amongst the younger set.
