No segment introductions from Derek this week, but Bruce is back talking about M.I.M.E.S and CGS: The End. Then Angie and Derek talk about a lot of things, but Derek lost the notes he took and all he can remember is that they talked about Tom Beland and True Story Swear To God, there was a lot of music played and at the end, Spit on a Stranger.

Hey guys! Thanks for talking about my stuff!! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Hey Derek… we saw the Police here in Puerto Rico and it was awesome.
Angie… so glad to hear you liked it! As for how many issues there are, seventeen issues of TSSTG that I published on my own and those are all collected in that huge Image book. Chronologically, that’s where you should begin. Then there are eleven issues published through Image. Issue #12 is forthcoming, because I had a fall down a staircase and developed a tremor in my drawing hand that I’m still fixing.
So when the hell am I going to be on the show again??? Let’s do this!!
Have you lost love for the comic forums? I was all ready to comment, but the new topic threads have stopped at 212.
Well, I guess I’ll ask here: what was the name of the second band you played in episode 213? I didn’t like the death cab for cutie song, or whatever the band was, because it sounded like every other emo band out there, but the second song was awesome.
I keep forgetting to start the threads, so if you see that an episode thread hasn’t been started, go ahead and start one.
I think you are talking about Yell Fire by Michael Franti and Spearhead. Franti was the creative force behind Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy, but I think that Spearhead is a lot more rounded band. They have a lot of live music available on archive.org.
