Interesting topic. I have a few odd shaped comics myself. A couple of ashcan editions. I also have the Mouse Guard hardcover and several Top Shelf books and other random digests and graphic novels which are various odd shapes and sizes. Which is kind of annoying when shelving said books because I am quite obsessive about the spines lining up properly on my book shelf. I’m always torn as to whether I should alphabetize them or put them in a kind of descending order by shape and size.
Derek, the Aquaman trailer is out there, if you’d like to check it out. I think I would have prefered it over them still having Smallville on.
Angie, you may not have OCD, but whatever virus hardcore comics fans have that makes them buy stuff they’ve already read, that’s what you have. I don’t care, because it’s your money, but some comic book fans’ buying habits perplexes me.
I’m missing Brave and the Bold and Wolverine and the X-men. That’s the down side to deliberately not having cable TV. I wish every channel would stream their shows!
Vichus, I saw the Legion episode of Smallville and thought it was pretty good. I definitely can see how its appeal has faded. I have also seen Aquaman and I thought it was OK, but very forgettable. That’s why I was surprised to see that I recognized some of the actors in it.
