    Listened to this last night. Just wanted to post a quick note to Derek. The new Adventure Comics does in fact have the Legion in it. I think Angela said it didn't. The first issue story focused on Starman, but there will be more Legion stuff coming into that part as well as the Superboy part if the "coming soon" page is any indication. Right now the Legion is the backup feature, with Superboy as the main. But DC have said that they will switch places at some point, with Legion being the feature and Superboy the backup.

    Derek, regarding the news that AMC is going to do Walking Dead as a series: there are no restrictions on basic cable concerning language or "mature" content. That is self- imposed. FX, for instance, has shows like "The Shield" which are just two breasts shy of being exactly the same as The Sopranos, Hung, etc. in terms of content.

    They just broadcast safer content in order to get more advertising.

    Also, the whole "Yellow Hat Guy" vs Rob Liefeld turned out to be a lot less than advertised. The Yellow Hat Guy was a total coward and eventually had to admit that his "confrontation was extremely passive and cowardly.

    PS: I heard on another podcast that he initially had a bad first impression of Darwyne Cooke, but he gave it another shot and it turned out that Cooke was not paying attention, where the podcaster thought he was intentionally being a dick. I wonder what Angela thinks of that.

    i don't know if you watch Breaking Bad on AMC, but there have been times where they have "beeped" out some of the dialog. I could tell what they were saying, but it didn't come out of the characters' mouths. If they do that with TWD, then it would be really irritating. That said, I am interested in seeing what they do with the story.

    Small c cowards are like that. Capital C Cowards are a lot cooler.

    I really wish they had just left the Legion in their pocket universe so that all the retconning wasn't necessary. I'm not even sure which Superboy you are even talking about: Conner's dead, Prime is insane and the real Superboy is owned by the Siegels now.

    Conner is alive as of Legion of 3 Worlds actually, resurrected via Kryptonian chrysalis thingie and the use of Lex Luthor DNA by Brainiac 5. That's the Superboy from Adventure Comics. I believe this is the same Legion that appeared in the recent Superman and the Legion of Super Heroes story arch. They are back to being Superman's old friends from his childhood again as of that storyline.
