December 31st, 2009 by Derek | Filed under Commentary.The highlight of the year to me was going to Heroes Con and meeting Pat Loika, Dave Slusher, Mike Myers, Barb Myers, Alan White, Ryan King (even though I may have offended him), Keith Cunningham (who is surprisingly very quiet), Micah Griffin-Lundy, Brian Denham, Shawn Pryor, Zack Kruse, Bryan Deemer (who is a lot shorter than I thought), Brian Christman (who is a lot taller than I thought), Adam Murdaugh, Jimmy Aquino (even though I know I hurt his feelings because I’m a dick sometimes), Joe Gonzales, Jon Towry, Rachel Towry, Todd DeZago and of course, James Harris III. I am looking forward to getting back to Charlotte next year. This time I will take my pain pills, so I don’t wimp out on the second day.
The lowlight was the death of Eric Martin. Nothing else even comes close.
