Quick Review of Superman: War of the Supermen 3 (of 4)

This war is moving at an alarmingly fast pace, which is appropriate for a 100 minute war but a little surprising when compared with today’s “stretch everything out as long as humanly possible” style of storytelling. Comic books, movies and TV shows seem to take longer to get to the point. More has happened in the first three issues of this miniseries than in some other entire recent event minis that concentrated on an alien invasion and war. I really need to go back and read how the story got to this point. Villains are bad, heroes are good, bystanders are innocent and the story ends on a cliffhanger that GUARANTEES I will be back next week (barring catastrophic injury or death).
Recommended even if you haven’t read the previous issues. Absolutely a must if you have and were thinking about dropping it.
