While Derek is still MIA, Host Angela Paman recruits Mike Myers (the guy from Rocky Mountain Comic Book Noise, Geek Brunch and DC Noise, not the comedian or the masked serial killer) to be Person Number Two and they talk.
Host Derek Coward finishes his look at the best of 2008 by talking about the titles that he has heard good things about but has never checked out yet, best miniseries that didn’t finish in 2008, best #1 comics of 2008 and the best graphic novels.

No Bruce this week , but Angie and Derek talk about this month’s Previews.
I explain what happened with the Comic Book Noise forum, play a song that has nothing to do with what I was talking about, explain a comment I made on a previous episode and talk a little about Love and Rockets: The New Stories.
No Bruce this episode, but there is a special promo from Bill Jourdain of the ‘The Golden Age Of Comic Books Podcast’ podcast. Then Angie and I talk about Patti’s accident, Advice for dog owners, Angie’s wi-fi woes, hate for Slingbox, Mail from Chris Partin, Unemployment sucks, Musical interlude, Angie loves Happy Meal Toys, Post recording plans, Actions figures, Love for Samuel L. Jackson, Angie’s work week, “Believe or not, I can be an asshole.”, How to stop the “Why do you spend so much on comics?” conversation, The Book Says, Karma covered apples?, I’m NOT now nor have I ever been a teddy bear, stupid dog, cocktail recommendation, maltliquortastesbetter.blogspot.com, webcomics recommendations, The Odd Squad, Comic Book blog recommendation and Yell Fire.
Happy Meal Toys Exchange
I am thinking about shaking up the format of the show a bit. I have been having a ball talking to Angie on Indie Comic Book Noise, I had fun hosting the World War Hulk shows with Tim Terrell and I am planning on having a special guest co-host on an irregular basis (Hint: His name rhymes with Reter Pios), but I was wondering if I should have rotating guest co-hosts. For example, Angie on an episode, then Pios on the next, David A Price, then Mike Myers, et cetera and so on and so forth. Sort of like Comic Timing, but with one person.
This is just something that has been going through my sleep deprived mind right now. What do you think?
I talk about incomplete websites, trying to find the balance between the reading habits of the audience and my own changing reading habits, unrealistic realism in superhero comics, plugs for Tom Vs The JLA and Indie Comic Book Noise, the comics I bought on May 21, 2008, I defend Diamond a little and play the best transition music of all time.
