I was sorely disappointed in this issue. Not only did it take years to come out, but right in the middle of the book, they changed pencilers. I suppose that answers the question about why it took so long to come out. I didn’t have a problem with the new artist because the art style change wasn’t as drastic as starting a book drawn by Neal Adams and ending it drawn by Kurt Schaffenberger. My main problem with the change in artists is the piss-poor way the new artist’s pages looked. The transfer was really bad, like they used compressed jpgs or gifs instead of tiff files or something.

To top it all off, the story seemed to take a left turn at Albuquerque because it stopped making sense. Maybe if I read other Dead World stories before this it would have made sense. Or if I read future Dead World stories, it will make sense. However, I will never spend my money on another Dead World story.
