Comic Book Noise 130: Black Summer 0 And 1 With Brian And Damian

August 11th, 2008 by Derek | No Comments | Filed in Comic Book Noise

Did anybody else read this miniseries from Avatar Press? I did and I talk about it on the latest episode of Comic Book Noise with Brian Matus and Damian Smith from the Kryptographik podcast. At least we tried to talk about the series. After 90 minutes we only covered the first two issues. But in the meantime, we touched upon politics, the legalization of narcotics and the correlation with raising children, the mechanics of language, global economies, religious imagery in scenes of mayhem and of course puppies and children.

Actually the part about puppies and children was left on the cutting room floor but the rest is there.
