For some reason I wasn’t expecting much, I liked it a lot. The story moved a lot faster than any Bendis story I can remember moving, but if this was all done in one day then I take it back. Coipel’s artwork seems to improve with each thing I have seen him on and he started out damn good when I first saw him on Legion Lost. The colors were beautiful; Laura Martin’s streak of excellence continues. Chris Eliopoulos’ name wasn’t on the cover which surprises me because the lettering was excellent as well.

I don’t know if the rest of the series will be good (other recent events started out strong but ended up with me looking for a flashlight so things would be over with) but this was a great start

I had time and a little bit of money so I picked up some comic books. I wanted to buy the new Flash Gordon (Ardden Entertainment?) and the new Thor special written by Matt Fraction, but the comic book shop didn’t have either of them. They were sold out.
